2026. On a Monday or Friday: Good Friday (Friday 3 April), Easter Monday (Monday 6 April), Labour Day (Friday 1 May), Christmas Day (Friday 25 December). On a Saturday or Sunday: Saints Cyril and Methodius Day (Sunday 5 July), Slovak National Uprising Anniversary (Saturday 29 August), All Saints' Day (Sunday 1 November), Second day of Christmas (Saturday 26 December).
2027. On a Monday or Friday: Day of the Establishment of the Slovak Republic (Friday 1 January), Good Friday (Friday 26 March), Easter Monday (Monday 29 March), Saints Cyril and Methodius Day (Monday 5 July), All Saints' Day (Monday 1 November), Christmas Eve (Friday 24 December). On a Saturday or Sunday: Labour Day (Saturday 1 May), Victory over Fascism Day (Saturday 8 May), Slovak National Uprising Anniversary (Sunday 29 August), Christmas Day (Saturday 25 December), Second day of Christmas (Sunday 26 December).
What the source says. Days off (dni pracovného pokoja) only. Constitution Day (1 September), 28 October and 17 November are state holidays but working days. In 2026 only, 8 May and 15 September are not days off (§ 4b).
