01What this site is
Gallivanting Gadabout publishes travel guides built mostly from official statistics and government sources. The guides are general information, not personal advice: they are not legal, visa, health, safety or financial advice.
Before you travel, check anything important, such as holiday dates, entry rules and opening times, with the official source. Each guide links to the sources it uses.
02Accuracy
We read every figure at its source and give the date we checked it. Official figures are revised and dates change, so a page can go out of date. Rates, fees, allowances and limits change most often: where a page gives an amount, it links to the official page so you can check the latest figure there. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will check it against the source. How we research explains the method.
03Using our content
The words, charts and tables on this site are ours, and all rights in them are reserved. To reuse our text, ask us first.
The data behind them belong to the organisations named in each guide's sources, and can be reused under those organisations' own terms, which the guides link to. The photos belong to their photographers and are used under the Pexels or Pixabay licence: see photo credits.
04Links to other websites
Some links take you to other websites, including booking websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, prices or availability. Some links will be affiliate links once our application to Agoda's affiliate programme is approved: the affiliate disclosure explains how they work.
05Bookings
If you book through a link on this site, you book with that website, under its own terms. We are not part of the booking and cannot change, cancel or refund it; please contact the website you booked with.

We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is, without guarantees. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from relying on it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that cannot be taken away.
