What the source says. Not an EU member, so there is no EU Official Journal cross-check. When a state holiday falls on a Sunday, the next working day is a day off; religious holidays are not moved. Members of other faiths have further days off for their own holidays.
How busy were the holiday months in 2025?
Each month's share of Serbia's tourist nights (Eurostat, 2025), as on our Serbia page, next to the 2026 holidays in that month. The figures do not show that holidays make a month busier or quieter, so we do not say they do.
| Month | Holidays in 2026 | Share of 2025 |
|---|---|---|
| January | New Year's Day, New Year (second day), Orthodox Christmas Day | 7.8% |
| February | Statehood Day (Sretenje), Statehood Day (second day) | 6.3% |
| April | Good Friday (Orthodox), Holy Saturday (Orthodox), Easter Sunday (Orthodox), Easter Monday (Orthodox) | 7.4% |
| May | Labour Day, Labour Day (second day) | 9.3% |
| November | Armistice Day (First World War) | 6.7% |
