Which holidays fall next to a weekend?

2026. On a Monday or Friday: Easter Monday (Monday 6 April), 1 May (Friday 1 May), Whit Monday (Monday 25 May), Christmas Day (Friday 25 December). On a Saturday or Sunday: Assumption (Saturday 15 August), All Saints' Day (Sunday 1 November), St Stephen's Day (Saturday 26 December).

2027. On a Monday or Friday: New Year's Day (Friday 1 January), Easter Monday (Monday 29 March), Whit Monday (Monday 17 May), All Saints' Day (Monday 1 November). On a Saturday or Sunday: 1 May (Saturday 1 May), Assumption (Sunday 15 August), Christmas Day (Saturday 25 December), St Stephen's Day (Sunday 26 December).

What the source says. Not an EU member, so there is no EU Official Journal cross-check. Good Friday is not on the list of legal holidays that count as Sundays.
