The sea figure is the 1991–2020 average sea surface temperature at the open-sea point nearest the weather station (NOAA OISST).

In 2025, February was Tottori's quietest month (6.1% of the year's guest nights): average high 9.1 °C, average low 1.0 °C, 154 mm of rain. August was the busiest (11.2%): average high 32.6 °C, average low 23.3 °C, 129 mm of rain. The figures do not show that the weather makes a month busier or quieter, so we do not say it does.
