What the source says. Not an EU member, so there is no EU Official Journal cross-check. The National Holiday starts at 13:00 on 28 October and continues on 29 October. The law also makes Ramazan Bayramı (3½ days) and Kurban Bayramı (4½ days) public holidays, each starting at 13:00 on the day before; their dates follow the lunar calendar, and we do not list them.

How busy were the holiday months in 2025?

Each month's share of Türkiye's tourist nights (Eurostat, 2025), as on our Türkiye page, next to the 2026 holidays in that month. The figures do not show that holidays make a month busier or quieter, so we do not say they do.
