Which holidays fall next to a weekend?

2026. On a Monday or Friday: Easter Monday (Monday 6 April), Labour Day (Friday 1 May), Christmas Day (Friday 25 December). On a Saturday or Sunday: Liberation anniversary (Saturday 25 April), Assumption (Saturday 15 August), St Francis of Assisi, patron saint of Italy (Sunday 4 October), All Saints' Day (Sunday 1 November), 26 December (Saturday 26 December).

2027. On a Monday or Friday: New Year's Day (Friday 1 January), Easter Monday (Monday 29 March), St Francis of Assisi, patron saint of Italy (Monday 4 October), All Saints' Day (Monday 1 November). On a Saturday or Sunday: Liberation anniversary (Sunday 25 April), Labour Day (Saturday 1 May), Assumption (Sunday 15 August), Christmas Day (Saturday 25 December), 26 December (Sunday 26 December).

What the source says. All Sundays are also public holidays in Italian law. 29 June is a holiday in the city of Rome only.
