Which holidays fall next to a weekend?

2026. On a Monday or Friday: Good Friday (Friday 3 April), Easter Monday (Monday 6 April), 1 May (Friday 1 May), Whit Monday (Monday 25 May), Christmas Day (Friday 25 December). On a Saturday or Sunday: Day of German Unity (Saturday 3 October), Second day of Christmas (Saturday 26 December).

2027. On a Monday or Friday: New Year's Day (Friday 1 January), Good Friday (Friday 26 March), Easter Monday (Monday 29 March), Whit Monday (Monday 17 May). On a Saturday or Sunday: 1 May (Saturday 1 May), Day of German Unity (Sunday 3 October), Christmas Day (Saturday 25 December), Second day of Christmas (Sunday 26 December).
